Furniture
Sunderland Community Furniture Services provide furniture for families and individuals who are in need. To help fund their activities they also recycle various materials including aluminium cans and aluminium foil. Aluminium foil is also collected through the local primary schools "foil recycling challenge" and from the Meals on Wheels Service, with public collection bank sites also planned. Contact Ken Whitfield at the Centre on 0191- 549 4343. They will collect furniture within about 15 miles of Sunderland.
½ tins of paint that you will never use again!
The Lazarus Foundation will recycle your paint and make it available to voluntary organisations and others with a need for paint. Tel: 0191-565 4885 9.30am - 4.30pm for details.

How does it work? It couldn't be easier to recycle for Scope... You can have a collection box in your workplace or home, you can recycle by freepost or take them into a Scope shop. The Sunderland branch is:
